Promises2Kids Summer Camp

Summer Camp Program Information

At Promises2Kids, we believe all foster youth deserve the chance to experience the life-changing power of summer camp. Since 2008, Camp Connect has supported brothers and sisters who are separated in the foster care system through sibling visits, monthly events, and a 6-day/5-night summer camp.

Promises2Kids is excited to announce that the first half of Summer Camp, August 1-4, will be open to all youth in care. Eligibility for the first half of camp will not be dependent on having a separated sibling. Instead, eligibility for Promises2Kids Summer Camp will be:

           - Camper must be between the ages of 8-17

           - Have an open, out-of-home, foster care case in San Diego County

A Promises2Kids staff member will reach out within 10 business days of application submission to review eligibility. Youth attendance will be confirmed on June 1st. We appreciate your patience with us as we work to serve the greatest amount of youth possible this summer.

All youth attending Summer Camp will need a Health History Form completed and signed by a doctor. This form will automatically be emailed out upon completion of this application.

Summer Camp Dates:

           - Camp Connect Sibling Summer Camp – August 1-6

           - Promises2Kids Summer Camp – August 1-4

*Space is limited!*

This application is ONLY for Promises2Kids Summer Camp from August 1-4th. Siblings attending August 1-6th do not need to complete this additional application.
